Few of us have not at least once pretended that something hurt us or that we didn’t feel well in order to get something in return. If we could think a little better about our childhood, we would definitely be able to remember numerous such situations.
And, when we think about it, we still do it, sometimes consciously, other times not. However, this type of behavior, contrary to popular opinion, is not reserved only for humans.
Although many of us are convinced that our pets are completely honest creatures, they also know how to pretend when it is in their interest.
We can see this best in the following video in which one dog suddenly turned into a Hollywood star.
ruly A Great Performer
A video posted by the user, @baileylovesmika, became viral, thanks to one dog named Mika who wasn’t feeling well. However, the video did not attract the attention because of that but because of something that happened a bit later.
The video starts with the sorrowful face of this dog and the words “when Mika wasn’t feeling well and refused to play.” That is why the worried owner, who truly thought that something was wrong with her pet, immediately took her to the vet.
However, the moment they entered the clinic, the situation completely changed as Mika became her old self again, if not even more than that.
When asked by the confused owner what suddenly happened to her dog, who was literally depressed just a few moments ago, the doctor answers with the words: “Mika is well and active, most likely fake illness for treats…”
It is hard to say what the deceived owner felt toward her little furry performer at that moment.
Viewers’ Reactions
As you can already see, this video attracted a lot of attention and even became viral. Many people, however, weren’t surprised by the behavior of this dog because of their previous experiences with their own pets.
We highlighted some of the most interesting comments.
“Took our dog to the emergency vet cus his belly was super hard and he didn’t want to move. Turns out he just needed to fart 💨 😂,” one user wrote.
“Hendrix was limping all day at daycare. Made an appointment. Get to the vet. Female poodle walks by … miracle. Limp is gone. 😳🥰” another added.
And, the third quipped: “I’m a vet tech and it happens every time. We believe you, I promise! Best thing to do it get pics/videos from home though 😂😂”
